Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an exciting school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity supporting students during the 2026/2027 academic year! This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while working onsite in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The assignment runs from August 11th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027, providing consistent hours—37.5 each week with a half-hour unpaid lunch.

You’ll work alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, contributing to the development and implementation of individualized student programs. Your expertise will help students overcome communication barriers, unlocking their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license/certification for the state
• Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support SLPs in delivering therapy services as outlined by individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Prepare therapeutic materials and assist with documentation
• Conduct group and individual sessions under the supervision of an SLP
• Track student progress and report observations
• Participate actively in school teams and staff meetings as required
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and learning opportunities
