Corporate Safety Program Manager [JK-15050]

A leading MEP contractor is seeking a Safety Program Manager to support enterprise-wide safety initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on strengthening high-risk safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance. This person will play a key role in shaping standards, partnering cross-functionally, and reducing operational risk. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both corporate safety program development and hands‑on collaboration with field teams. The Role: Act as the subject matter expert for specialized, high-risk safety areas such as fall protection, rigging & crane operations, electrical safety, LOTO, confined space and other critical risk programs Design, refine, and manage safety policies, procedures, and training resources across the organization Evaluate regulatory changes and translate requirements into actionable business practices Lead program audits, assessments, and gap analyses to strengthen compliance and effectiveness Partner with internal teams to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements Work in partnership with the Safety Director to develop strategic initiatives that improve safety performance and operational excellence The Candidate: A minimum of 5-7 years proven experience working in the construction industry. Mechanical/HVAC experience desired Demonstrated expertise in developing corporate safety programs, standards and training materials. Applying OSHA and DOT requirements in a corporate setting Bachelor Degree in occupational safety or related discipline CSP or similar BCSP certification A strong verbal and written communication skills.
