Shipping Clerk

We have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk at our farming location, G&D Farms, located in Manatee County (Duette, FL). G&D Farms is looking for a dependable Shipping Clerk to join our team for primarily evening shift hours . This is a hands‑on, onsite role supporting our shipping operations and helping keep product moving accurately and on time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete daily shipping and receiving paperwork Verify orders, bills of lading, and shipment records Coordinate with warehouse and loading teams Track inventory and shipments Assist with general dock/warehouse tasks as needed Desire to work on the farm side in the shipping offseason Operate a forklift (helpful but not required) Provide general operational support by assisting with miscellaneous farm needs as they arise. QUALIFICATIONS Agriculture or warehouse experience Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record‑keeping skills Comfortable working evenings as this is for an evening clerk position Computer and paperwork skills a must, experience with Famous RF Smart helpful Prior experience in agriculture, food safety, or farm compliance preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive and resourceful with a “hands‑on” approach.
