Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher. Located in Menifee, CA, this full-time assignment runs from ASAP through December 18, 2026, with a schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week. As the leader of this specialized classroom, you’ll collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. There’s an immediate opening for one committed educator who meets the unique requirements for this elementary caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold active California Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) teaching credentials
• Ability to provide a screenshot of current CTC credential status
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a specialized setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and behavioral support
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a Special Day Class for grades 2–5
• Create, implement, and adapt instructional materials based on student needs
• Collaborate with IEP teams, service providers, and family members
• Track progress and maintain accurate student records
• Provide behavioral guidance and positive classroom management
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
