Home Health Aide Opportunity

Vertus HealthCare is a growing home health organization committed to delivering a higher standard of care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) who align with our mission and core values.

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential personal care and daily living support to clients while promoting independence, dignity, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Active Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (minimum 75 hours)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Current CPR certification
• AHCA Level II Background Screening
• Physical and TB tests (within the past 6 months)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
