RN Obstetrics

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled OB RN for an engaging travel assignment in Chanute, KS. This position focuses on obstetrics and requires work in a supportive and structured healthcare environment. The right candidate will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on the care and well-being of mothers and newborns. This is a 13-week assignment with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Key responsibilities of the OB RN include:

Provide exemplary nursing care in the delivery room
Manage and monitor fetal heart rates using Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
Float to MedSurg and care for patients if census is low
Administer BLS, ACLS, and NRP when required
Document patient interactions and care plans in Cerner EMR

Requirements of the OB RN include:

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
Previous delivery room experience required
MedSurg experience necessary
