Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring 18 months of ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license. Details Work in the 4W ICU unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week No on-call responsibilities Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on department rotation Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required in hand Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience required Previous travel experience required Experience with ventilator management and IV insertion required Experience with PICC lines required Meditech charting experience required BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required upon start Additional Information Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity ICU setting Interview process includes a Nurse Manager interview Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered, as no local candidates are allowed Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed per traveler These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
