Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) –  Weekend Case (Teaneck, NJ)

Saturday & Sunday | 8am–8pm | $45/hr Setting: Pediatric Private Duty • Company: Affirmed Home Care

Provide meaningful, 1:1 skilled nursing care every weekend for a 14‑year‑old female with cerebral palsy in Teaneck, NJ. She is non‑ambulatory, non‑verbal , receives oral feeds , and requires respiratory therapies including nebulizer treatments, cough assist, and chest vest therapy . This is a deeply rewarding role for an RN who values clinical excellence, compassion, and family‑centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive pediatric assessment — Perform ongoing RN‑level evaluations and respond to changes in condition

• Respiratory management — Nebulizer treatments, cough assist, chest vest therapy

• Clinical monitoring & documentation — Maintain accurate, timely records and communicate updates

• Family‑centered collaboration — Support routines, comfort, and stability

• Home safety & infection control — Ensure proper equipment use and safe environment

Pay Rate

RN: $45/hr

Available Shifts

• Priority Weekend Case: Saturday & Sunday, 8am–8pm (Teaneck, NJ)

• Additional day, evening, and overnight shifts available across nearby pediatric cases

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License

• Pediatric experience preferred (home care or facility)

• Current BLS Certification

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Physical exam within 12 months

• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)

• Proof of MMR within 10 years

• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
