Title of Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Description:

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for all daily functions of the restaurant. Creating an environment focused on providing great food and outstanding service as a team is especially important as the Assistant Restaurant Manager. 

Training and developing the hourly staff to perform according to company standards and adhere to all food safety and security procedures will be a function of the Assistant Restaurant Manager. Consistent feedback and routine performance evaluations will showcase our encouraging and supportive management style and motivate our team to succeed. Leading by example is an essential function as our Assistant Restaurant Manager as well. 

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be the “Go-To” for all restaurant personnel on a daily basis so it’s imperative that an open line of communication is maintained with the hourly personnel. Working together closely, the General Manager and the Assistant Restaurant Manager will create schedules, monitor inventory, analyze food and labor cost, and develop effective marketing strategies to build sales and profits all resulting in a lucrative restaurant. A career development plan will be put in place by the General Manager for the Assistant Restaurant Manager to enhance knowledge and promote career growth.

Qualifications:

• The Assistant Manager must have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 3 year
• A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Assistant Manager
• A solid track record in achieving financial results is a must for the Assistant Manager
• The Assistant Manager must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity 
• The Assistant Manager should make themselves available to the restaurant at all times
