Established (35 years), independent private practice of 11 is actively recruiting highly motivated individuals who wants to practice high quality Radiology in a large teaching institution. The group covers a 450 bed tertiary referral center and 4 smaller hospitals and an imaging center and is the exclusive provider of radiology services throughout the health system. The main hospital is a tertiary care level 1 Trauma center with four residency programs (FP, IM, General Surgery and EM). There are teaching programs in Nursing, Radiology Technology and Allied Health. and a completely new outpatient med/surg center with state of the art equipment including 2 top of the line CT scanners, 3.0 and 1.5 Tesla open MRI scanners, two CT scanners, a GE 128-slice Revolution and a 40-slice CT, Ultrasound, as well as an ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

• IR/DX Radiologist - You can expect to spend 60-70% In IR. Dedicated 1:3 IR call (no general call required). Our IR service preforms the full gamut of interventional procedures from all bread and butter IR procedures to radioembolization, thermal ablation, TIPS, vererbro and kyphoplasty, arterial and venous stenting and fibroid embolizations. We have a comprehensive varicose vein service, as well as a full IR clinic supported by 3 PAs. We have 2 Siemens Artis Zee procedure rooms, of which one is a bi-plane, with a third GE room under construction. For IR, receive 500k salary, 100k sign on bonus.
• General Rad must be proficient in most modalities but essential that you do mammo and/or are very strong with MRI. Radiologists have a 4.5 day work. Weekends are also 9 times/year (there are two on each weekend 1 primary and 1 back up for overflow). Nighthawk takes over at 8pm. Salary 450k and 50k sign on bonus.
