Job Description
Endoscopy RN - Registered Nurse

Schedule:
10-hour Days, rotating shifts, plus on-call as required.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:
- Prior travel experience is required.
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required; AHA PALS preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
- Recent experience in a trauma 1, large teaching facility (500+ beds) is required.
- Must have experience starting IVs, assessing history and physical information, and post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation.
- Required to provide conscious sedation medication and monitor the patient in the procedure room.
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients receiving conscious sedation during procedures.
- Administer conscious sedation medications per established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Compliance / Notes:
- Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is required.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months.
- No block schedules available; assignments offered Monday to Sunday.
- Bi-weekly orientations occur on Mondays; next available orientation is on 9/21.
