New Grad - Physician Assistant (PA) - Urgent Care

Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Provide patient-centered care by conducting health assessments, physical exams, and reviewing medical histories to address patient needs efficiently. Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and study of medical histories. Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies, and interpreting results. Perform therapeutic procedures including administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds and infections. Educate and counsel patients on health, therapeutic regimens, growth and development, family planning, and wellness. Prepare clear, accurate, and legible medical records using EMR in accordance with company policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment complying with company and state regulations. Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees. Comply with legal and professional requirements, including studying legislation and advising management on necessary actions. Collaborate proactively with other providers and healthcare practitioners to efficiently treat patients and plan coordinated dispositions. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies. About You The company is looking for: Master’s degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certifying body. DEA license with no restrictions. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (CPR, ACLS, or online-only classes not accepted). Preferred clinical experience through rotations or settings in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care. Excellent team player who enjoys collaboration. Proactive and confident communicator, both written and verbal, able to address concerns professionally. Compassionate, authentic, and patient-focused, supporting patients with kindness and fostering a community of belonging. Technically proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and clinical management systems (EMR). Strong knowledge of customer service principles, applicable laws and regulations including HIPAA and OSHA, relevant drugs and their properties, non-pharmaceutical patient care aids, and current medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment methods.
