Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of restaurant management, including budgeting, culinary practices, and staff supervision. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our establishment while fostering a positive work culture.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings that enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering processes to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase customer engagement.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, culinary practices, and hospitality management principles.
- Experience in training development and supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with bartending operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
