Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of hospice patients doing home visits Work with a team of healthcare providers, clinicians and aides to deliver excellent patient care Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment What You Bring? Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado Minimum 6 months of experience as aCNA Hospice experience preferred Current CPR/BLS certification (demonstration course required) Reliable Transportation to travel visit-to-visit Proof of flu vaccination, during Flu season in the months of October-March Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
