Cashier/Host Position

As a Cashier/Host at IHOP, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring a positive first and last impression for every guest. You'll manage guest seating, process payments accurately, and support the dining room operations to maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, determine seating preferences, and escort them to their tables.
• Manage the waitlist efficiently during peak hours, communicating estimated wait times accurately.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about menu items or restaurant services.
• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and cashier area, including stocking necessary supplies.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including clearing and setting tables as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating to management when necessary.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
