Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Pay: $40–$45/hour (DOE)

Per Diem: $120/day (hotel + meals)

Location: Apple Grove, WV (Huntington, WV area)

We're hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Electricians and Electrical Controls Technicians for a large-scale installation project with a global metals and automation manufacturer near Huntington, WV. This is a 6+ month contract to permanent hire with overtime potential and daily per diem — starting immediately.

What You'll Do

• Install, bend, and secure flexible and rigid conduit
• Pull, label, and organize control wiring (30–40 ft runs)
• Terminate wiring to PLC I/O modules, terminal blocks, and junction boxes
• Install and align sensors: limit switches, proximity switches, and similar field devices
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts
• Test circuits and components (voltage, continuity) using multimeters
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all electrical safety procedures
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial electrical installation and troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on PLC wiring and control panel experience
• Strong working knowledge of NEC/IEC wiring standards
• Proficient with conduit benders, knockout punches, drills, and hand tools
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

Preferred

• Experience on large industrial or manufacturing project sites
• PLC cabinet assembly and field device troubleshooting

Compensation & Perks

• $40–$45/hour depending on experience
