This role involves not only traditional receptionist duties but also some cross training to assist in exam rooms with patient restraint during doctor and technician appointments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with clients and their pets, managing appointment schedules, and supporting the clinical team as needed. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival at the clinic. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally. Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets’ care and clinic policies. Process payments and handle client billing accurately. Assist in exam rooms by helping with patient restraint during doctor and technician appointments. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred. Comfortable working with animals and assisting with patient restraint. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with phone systems and appointment scheduling software.
