Surgical Instrument Technician

This is a night shift position from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotations every third weekend.

The Surgical Instrument Technician is responsible for the preparation, care, sterilization, and transportation of medical and surgical instruments, packs, supplies, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Transport instruments, packs, and supplies to designated areas.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment meet safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical staff to ensure the availability of necessary instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent is required.
