At GMW we have a reputation for high standards and we pride ourselves on our quality workmanship and on‑time deliveries. Position Overview GMW is seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector. Manual aerospace inspection experience along with AS9102 First Article Inspection experience is preferred. Assembly QA experience is a plus. Qualified individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and are detail oriented are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities and Requirements • Manual aerospace inspection experience. • AS9102 First Article Inspection experience. • Assembly QA experience (a plus). • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, detail oriented. • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Work Environment This job operates in a machine shop environment. Work activities involve times where employees will be walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting and sitting throughout the day. This position will include some time working around high-speed machinery and equipment and the use of any required safety equipment. There is exposure to machine oil, metal filings, unpleasant odors and noise. Job functions on and around mechanized equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy and safety awareness.
