Senior Therapist

This therapist/leader will serve as a clinician on staff, join our Leadership Team, and support our monthly staff meetings. The position is roughly 50% clinical and 50% administrative. Primary Responsibilities Clinical Services: Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services, including individual, couple, group, and/or family therapy. Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social-spiritual assessments for new clients. Develop individualized treatment plans appropriate to mental health diagnoses and presenting concerns. Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically indicated. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, within 48 hours of service delivery. Provide crisis intervention and clinical support in the event of client mental health emergencies, prioritizing client safety and well-being. Respond promptly to new client inquiries or intake referrals assigned by the center. Manage client payments and billing processes in accordance with SCCA policies. Program Collaboration and Partnerships Facilitate trainings, workshops, or educational offerings for the community and/or SCCA staff based on professional expertise and interest. Leadership and Organizational Engagement Actively participate on the SCCA Leadership Team, contributing to organizational initiatives and collaborative leadership. Engage in leadership for monthly staff meetings. Attend SCCA-sponsored continuing education events and professional development opportunities. Participate in one board committee or organizational project in collaboration with the Board of Directors. Administrative Support Provide limited administrative leadership support to the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director as needed. Ensure accreditation standards are met, keeping up with annual requirements and documentation. Conduct with the Clinical Director semi-annual client satisfaction and outcome surveys, analyzing the surveys, disseminating the results, and proposing improvements. Provide administrative supervision for associate-level therapists. Managing client record requests. Assuming leadership of the client intake process. Maintain appropriate professional licensure, ethical standards, and continuing education requirements. Qualifications Fully licensed mental health professional in the State of Georgia (or license-eligible in Georgia). AAMFT or LPC-approved supervisor (or eligible) Minimum 4-5 years’ experience while fully licensed. Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and/or families. Commitment to integrative care that respects the psychological, spiritual, and community dimensions of healing. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team. Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills. Hours and Compensation This position is roughly split in half: 20 hours per week for providing therapy (15 clients/week plus documentation), and 20 hours per week in clinical oversight and administrative leadership. Work five days per week, 40 hours per week.Three days will be in-office from 9-6 or 10-7; one day in-office with flex times; one flex day of work, eitherin-office or at-home.
