• Minimum Pay: $33.15/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits

Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse I (RN) to join the Medical Unit at Hospital in Vinita, Oklahoma.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive, safe, and patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. The RN will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve positive patient outcomes.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing plans of care.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide safe and effective patient care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Consider patient age, cultural background, psychosocial factors, and clinical condition when providing care.
• Monitor patient status and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient progress.
• Use appropriate medical terminology in clinical documentation and communication.
• Identify patient problems and monitor progress toward established goals.
• Facilitate patient discharge through appropriate referrals and patient education.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual age, cultural, psychosocial, and clinical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare disciplines to coordinate patient care.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment within the scope of practice.
• Coordinate activities with members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and educational activities.
• Attend required in-services and maintain unit education standards.
• Complete required variance reports and other documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, internal departments, and external customers.
• Adapt to changing patient-care needs in a rural hospital setting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

-> Required Qualifications

• Completion of the basic professional curriculum from an approved school of nursing.
• Up to 6 months of related experience accepted.
• Valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligible multi-state RN license.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment within the scope of practice.
• Ability to work effectively in a rural hospital environment.
• Flexibility with scheduling is required.

Shift: Nights
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 2 × 12-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours/week listed in the requisition

Candidates must be comfortable working the required night shift and should have flexibility with scheduling.

-> Compensation & Relocation

Minimum Pay: $33.15/hour

Qualified candidates relocating from 71+ miles away may be eligible for relocation assistance of up to $10,000 , subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

No sign-on bonus.
