Warehouse WorkerThe Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, scanning, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety procedures. This role supports warehouse and production operations through order fulfillment, material movement, and inventory control.ResponsibilitiesPick customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.Ensure accurate inventory control and manage shipping and receiving processes.Maintain warehouse safety and adhere to all procedures.Perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks as required.Essential SkillsExperience with RF scanners.Forklift operation skills.Proficiency in inventory control.Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution, or picking experience preferred.Forklift and/or cherry picker experience preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.Basic computer skills.Why Work Here?The company offers significant growth opportunities and supports employees by paying for GED completion. The work takes place in a warehouse facility where the dress code consists of jeans and t-shirts, with all clothing being 100% cotton.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.05 - $23.05/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
