QA Engineer

Salesforce QA Engineer Location: Hyderabad Work Model: 3 days WFO 2 days WFH Contract: 6 months extension, with possible internalization Experience: 5 years Role Overview We are looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer with strong hands-on testing experience to ensure quality across Salesforce implementations, enhancements, integrations, and releases. The role is execution-focused, covering test preparation, functional and automated test execution, defect management, test evidence, and release validation. Responsibilities Execute functional, regression, integration, user acceptance and end-to-end testing. Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test data and execution evidence. Perform automated tests using the selected Salesforce testing platform and supporting tools. Validate Salesforce configuration, custom development, workflows, security, data and integrations. Log, prioritize, retest and track defects through closure. Perform API testing and support release, deployment and upgrade validation. Collaborate with the Testing Lead, developers, architects, business analysts and product teams. Follow testing standards and contribute practical improvements to quality processes. Required Experience 5 years of software quality assurance experience, including Salesforce project testing. Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or other Salesforce clouds. Experience with functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing. Working knowledge of Salesforce data model, security, Flows, Lightning, integration patterns and JavaScript. Experience with automation tools such as Provar, Tricentis Tosca, AccelQ or Selenium. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI. Experience with Agile delivery and defect or test management tools. Ability to produce clear test documentation and communicate defects effectively. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and disciplined execution. Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage assigned testing activities and priorities. Proactive approach to identifying defects, risks and quality gaps.
