Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a talented CAD Engineer to join their client's dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced design technologies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as collaborating with various professionals to ensure project success.
Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system layouts and designs.
• Create and revise construction drawings, schematics, and BIM/Revit models.
• Coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Perform equipment sizing, system calculations, and material selection.
• Assist with clash detection and design coordination using BIM software.
• Support prefabrication and construction teams by providing detailed installation drawings.
• Review and incorporate design changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and BIM/Revit modeling.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience in coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Ability to perform equipment sizing and system calculations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift

Additional Details

Pay Range: $120,000.00 per year
