Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Home health experience required.
• Professional certification required.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• No weekend or on-call requirement.
• Coverage area includes Calvert, Charles, St. Marys, and Prince George‘s counties.
• Mileage is reimbursed between patient visits.
• Dress code: Navy Blue.

Location Highlights

Waldorf offers convenient access to both outdoor recreation and major metro attractions. Residents and visitors are within about 30 miles of Washington, D.C. landmarks such as the National Mall and Smithsonian museums, and the area supports a suburban lifestyle with access to commuter routes including US-301 and MD-5. Outdoor destinations include Smallwood State Park on the Potomac River, about 20 miles away, and Cedarville State Forest, which offers trails and camping within a short drive of Waldorf. For waterfront and regional exploration, National Harbor is roughly 25 miles north with dining and entertainment along the Potomac, while Southern Maryland provides access to quiet communities and Chesapeake Bay day trips.
