Process Specialist

Responsible for collating and validating documents along with processing data for Old Dominion's customers with the goal of streamlining and improving accuracy in the pricing process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Proofread and compile pricing documents for OD customers.
• Coordinate with pricing analysts to ensure accuracy of information.
• Present all information collated from data in an easily digestible format.
• Load data into OD's system for internal personnel to view for a variety of business purposes.
• Set up new customers and amend existing customers in OD's system to ensure bills can be rated accurately and automatically.
• Research and update customer codes to ensure pricing is properly applied.
• Distribution of pricing documentation directly to customers for their records.

Job Qualifications

Education:

• Associate degree (2 Year Degree) or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of one year experience in the transportation industry
• Understanding of outbound, inbound and third-party billing
• Understanding of tariffs, schedules, NMFC rules, freight bills, shipper codes and bill-to codes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong proofreading/editing skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

AM / PM
