Mammography Technologist

Location - Dayton , OH We are seeking an experienced Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to join a fast-paced imaging department with a consistent daytime schedule and no weekend or on-call requirements. Schedule Shift: Day Shift Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts Time: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM Duration: 13 Weeks No Call Travelers must be available to work every other holiday. Responsibilities Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations. Produce accurate diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Prepare patients for procedures and explain imaging processes. Coordinate patient flow within the imaging department. Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice when required. Perform venipuncture as appropriate. Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality standards are met. Float to other imaging modalities or departments based on departmental needs and competency. Preferred Experience Experience with the following procedures is highly preferred: 3D Mammography (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis) Screening Mammograms Needle Localizations Fine Needle Aspirations Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Minimum Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience (2 years preferred). Previous inpatient and outpatient imaging experience. Registered in Mammography. ARRT (R) certification required. BLS (AHA) certification required. Active Ohio Radiologic License required. Experience using Epic EMR is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
