• 24 hr beeper call -- 8am to 8am shifts
• 10 patients per shift
• Call response time required: 25 minutes
• 360 deliveries per year
• Skills required: vaginal delivery, C-section, breech, multiple births
• Amniocentesis and OB ultrasounds required
• Surgical gynecology -- open and laparoscopic procedures required
• Provider coverage pool
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
