Patient Care Tech - Free Standing ER South Tampa - Nights- Part time

Summary: Works under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse providing patient care in the clinical setting. Cares for a group of assigned patients with various needs to ensure safe, high-quality care is delivered. Care includes but not limited to, providing for patient's daily needs such as hygiene, mobility, nutrition, toileting, ensuring safety measures are in place, communication with patient & care team, documentation of care provided. Additional skills as validated include urinary catheter insertion and removal, removal IV reseal, super pubic catheter care, telemetry lead placement and ostomy care/maintenance. Free Standing ER in South Tampa- Projected start date of September or October 2026 Minimum Qualifications: Other information: Required Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) Preferred Credentials: EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Minimum requirements include one of the following: 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only; or completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes a clinical component. Preferred Experience: 1 year - Hospital in related field. Required - High School or Equivalent Facility: BayCare Health System, FSED Emergency Services-SJH Location: St Josephs Main and Children's Status: Part Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Weekend Work: Every 3rd On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely?
