Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide care and support for laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using appropriate equipment
• Manage 1:2 patient ratios effectively during shifts
• Assist with C-Sections, SVD, cerclages, and other typical procedures
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE certifications
• Intermediate fetal monitoring competency
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Strong SVE competency and experience in C-Section circulation
