Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: Strong skills in various labor and delivery procedures Description: The L&D RN will work in a vibrant labor and delivery unit. This role requires a skilled nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience. A valid state nursing license and required certifications are mandatory. The nurse will be involved in providing care to neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults. The patient ratio will be 1:1. Weekend coverage is required. The facility provides housing and a rental vehicle for travelers during their assignment. Pets are not allowed in housing units. Candidates should be open to floating within the hospital to meet facility needs. The nurse will engage in various labor and delivery procedures and must have advanced skills in areas such as newborn assessment and postpartum care. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for the position. The selected candidate should be prepared to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
