Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years Stepdown or ICU in an acute care hospital. - Competent with insulin gtts, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with post-op surgical and trauma patients is helpful.

Special Requests: - Block scheduling would need facility approval. - Confirmation required within 5 days of offer. - RTO of 5 days or less must be made up on the back end.

Unit Details: - Patient ratio 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees). - Uses IV pumps, computers, glucometer, and GE monitoring equipment. - Cardiac med-surg unit caring for post-cardiac cath, Afib, CHF, stable MI, and general medical overflow patients; includes post heart caths with interventions, pacemaker insertion, non-titrated cardiac drips, and cardiac gtts for dysrhythmias.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends as required by facility. - Call as required by facility. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
