Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience preferred.

Unit Details: Patient mix includes telemetry, surgical, and general medical patients. Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients not assigned to travelers. Uses Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: Must occasionally work weekends (same hours 7a-7p/7p-7a). Call requirements: only when down-staffed or placed on call.

Floating Requirements: Possible to care for inpatient holds.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
