Heavy Equipment OperatorWaste Connections is looking for a safety conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team at our LP Gill Landfill in Lincoln, Nebraska.PAY: $22-$24 per hour- Every hour after 40 is paid overtime.- Monthly safety bonus rewarded for safe operating.SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 6:00am-5:30pm and every other Saturday 6am-12pm.WHY YOU NEED TO JOIN US:CULTURE: It's a great place to work! We keep our promises to our customers and our employees.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor• Spreading daily cover using a dozer• Excavating soil using an excavator• Maintaining haul roads using a grader• Hauling soil with an articulated dump truck• Work in a fast paced, team environment• Follow safe operating practices• Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
