Application Development Manager (.NET) - Plano, TX Direct Hire Responsibilities Define priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of system changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions. Manage vendor relationships. Work cross-functionally to understand business priorities and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with IT security, data privacy, and SOX/ internal audit requirements. Work on system performance improvement and process improvement initiatives. Describe structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders. Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered. Ensure system stability, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring and support. Develop resource and capacity plans aligned with business objectives. Establish and enforce development policies, processes, and quality assurance standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years in Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure services) in a highly regulated field such as insurance or finance. 5+ years of experience in application development role. 4+ years of experience in a management role. Experience in software development methodologies, version control, and testing practices. Ability to multi-task, team player with a focus on results and fostering strong relationships with various leaders. Demonstrated strong managerial, supervisory, team management, and leadership skills with a proven track record of success. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and web technologies. Possesses a wide range of knowledge to support various corporate business functions.
