Meador an Openwork Company is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving/Distribution Clerk for a growing safety equipment supplier in Deer Park, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of receiving and distribution experience, preferably within the industrial supply industry, with strong knowledge of gaskets, sealants, and similar materials. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, inventory, and material-handling experience who can maintain accurate records, verify incoming materials, and support daily distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify counts, dimensions, weight ratings, drawings, and other specifications.
• Compare purchase orders with vendor packing lists and identify discrepancies.

• Handle, identify, and organize industrial materials, including gaskets, sealants, and related products.

• Tag materials for stock and customer orders.

• Accurately receive purchase orders into the ERP system and maintain updated receiving documentation.

• Notify the appropriate team members of purchase order discrepancies, damaged materials, or receiving issues.

• Put away stock, pull orders, stage materials, and issue inventory to work centers.

• Record inventory transactions in the ERP system and assist with cycle counts.

• Operate a forklift and order picker as needed.

• Assist other shop areas when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of receiving and distribution experience, preferably in an industrial supply or similar environment.

• Experience handling gaskets, sealants, and related industrial materials strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order pulling, staging, and material distribution.

• Experience with high-volume inbound and outbound shipments is a plus.

• Comfortable using computers and learning ERP inventory systems.

• Ability to read and use a tape measure.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying materials and documentation.

• Organized, dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities.

• Ability to stand, crouch, bend, and lift up to 70 lbs. throughout the workday.

• Forklift and order picker experience preferred.

• Location: Deer Park, TX 77536
• Pay: $15$18/hour DOE
• Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM5:00 PM
