Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. By joining our hard-working KLA team in Ann Arbor, you’ll enjoy excellent career opportunities with encouraging colleagues in a spectacular place to live!**Responsibilities*** Configurate PC and Server hardware and software.* Collaborate with the Engineering and Manufacturing teams in our Central Engineering Group to define Test Fixture requirements.* Design, document, build, test and integrate Test Fixture assemblies, that involve electrical, optical, and mechanical systems, including AC/DC power distribution.* Work with vendors and internal teams to procure and release parts.* Be prototyping, assembling, and testing electrical and electro-optical assemblies.## **Qualifications*** Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.* Knowledge of electrical engineering principles.* Hands-on lab experience building electrical/optical/mechanical assemblies.* Proficiency with soldering, hand tools, wiring, multimeter, oscilloscope, and lab test equipment.* Self-sufficient with a consistent track record of organizing, designing, and delivering completed electrical/mechanical/optical assemblies.* Ability to travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally**Minimum Qualifications**Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 yearsBase Pay Range: $76,300.00 - $129,700.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
