Position Overview Registered Nurse with 1+ years of recent cath lab or critical care experience strongly preferred. Call coverage is required. Location UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO, USA Department Lab Cardiac Cath Work Schedule Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift Days Pay $38.91 - $60.31 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Responsibilities Prepare the environment, orient and assess patients, and review patient records to ensure safety checklists are complete before procedures. Respond to life‑threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols. Handle critical and highly stressful situations with decisive judgment and efficiency. Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment. Assess learning needs of patients/families and deliver appropriate education. Work autonomously in a fast‑paced setting and take appropriate action when needed. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state licensure. Registered Nurse Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Graduate of an accredited nursing program or nursing program accepted by the state board if less than 3 years of experience. 6 months RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. ACLS within 3 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; BLS or CPR card must be valid through 60 days of hire.
