Position Overview Job ID: 3171749 | Amazon.com Services LLC This full‑time position requires in‑role training at an operating site which will be 5+ weeks in duration. The training will be located 50+ miles away from the home site location. All travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon. Key Responsibilities Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in‑station classes and drive‑alongs Partner with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training related activities Have a detailed understanding of processes, expectations, and training requirements for all driver programs in operation Provide timely and accurate reporting on completion of trainings, compliance, safety, and maintenance duties Execute to the standard, always working to ensure that the content and experience complement the safety, quality, and legal procedures as defined Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards such as driver vehicle inspection reports, hours of service, trip planning, and safe road driving practices Track and monitor performance including on‑road ride‑behind to measure quality, adherence to standards, and identify retraining and process improvement opportunities Drive, maneuver, and load/unload a truck as scheduled using approved equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to twelve hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation Work outside and drive different motor vehicles over the road Drive in accordance with DOT requirements Stay connected to the operation by participating in on‑road processes regularly Be a resource to the delivery station for driver training‑related questions Work as a peer trainer on an as‑needed basis to support the business Motivate, coach, and provide feedback to Delivery Associates during training Travel to multiple sites within fifty miles of the home station and have reliable transportation Operate and navigate a 26,000‑pound or less vehicle Track performance and provide identified retraining and process improvement opportunities to further develop non‑CDL driver, DOT‑regulated training Effectively operate a GPS Associate may be required to gain DOT Regulation Qualification as a condition of the role Work forty hours per week, plus overtime as required Basic Qualifications One or more years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to twelve hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Valid and active driver's license Age twenty‑one or older Eligibility to drive in accordance with DOT requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File Authorized to work in the United States Work forty hours per week, plus overtime as required Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, and/or prior Amazon experience Problem‑solving and analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication across all levels Track record of meeting or exceeding departmental goals Leadership experience and ability to direct team members with independent judgment Strong organization and time‑management skills Experience delivering training to individuals and groups Two or more years of professional driving experience Bachelor’s degree or two or more years of Amazon experience Knowledge of instructional theories, including adult learning, on‑the‑job learning, knowledge management theories, virtual and classroom instruction Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace Location and Compensation USA, MN, Stewartville – base hourly rate of 22.00 USD, with possible shift differential.
