Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor will lead a shift of warehouse staff for the new Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center (DC) in Winter Haven, Fl. This individual, in collaboration with other leaders, will be responsible for executing safe and effective operations that meet the needs of the organization and its employees. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this person will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service for Chick-fil-A restaurant Operators while ensuring safety and achievement of several critical key performance indicators (KPIs). The Warehouse Supervisor will help drive the operations of the distribution center and will enable supply chain innovation unique to the food service industry. Chick-fil-A Supply® ensures restaurants have the food and products they need through a seamless delivery experience that extends Chick-fil-A's culture of care.ResponsibilitiesMotivate, staff, schedule, and support a dynamic team responsible for receiving, picking, loading, and completing other warehouse tasks by creating workflow and eliminating waste in the operationOversees daytime transportation operation performance to include audits and observations of routes, when requiredClosely collaborate with leaders and team members to identify and resolve operational bottlenecksCarefully monitor expenditure data and support budget managementRecruit, train, and develop a strong teamCollaborate with the warehouse manager regarding staff performance; identify and drive areas of improvement; and recognize team members' outstanding performanceAct as a liaison to Restaurant Services, balancing the needs of the Operator with the capabilities of the operationImplement, manage, and improve distribution center operationsDeliver high service levels to Operators and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Work closely with the DC Leadership Team, CFA Supply Services, and various business partners to ensure optimal alignment and collaborationSupport the Chick-fil-A vision and strategy by building a culture that aligns with the Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety and excellenceComplete other activities as requiredRequired Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)High school degree or similar3+ years of experience in warehouse leadershipDemonstrated experience with and functional knowledge of food service distribution, including warehousing, operations (including Six Sigma and Lean), engineering standards, warehouse equipment, and performance metricsWorking knowledge of innovations in supply chain and warehouse operationsKnowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with general safety standards, quality specifications, and governmental requirementsAbility to complete physically demanding work, including consistently lifting up to 60 poundsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shiftsDemonstrated ability to value both relationships and results and to put others above themselvesStrong aptitude to think critically, solve problems, and drive improvements in a professional and respectful mannerExceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skillsStrong ability to negotiate and resolve conflict by navigating confrontational situations to ensure all parties are treated with honor, dignity, and respectProficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supporting in a food distribution or food manufacturing environmentExperience in a start-up environmentDemonstrated success in operations and people leadershipExperience with a warehouse management systemProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access; experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS solutionsRequired Years of Experience3Travel Requirements10%Required Level of EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred Level of EducationBachelor's DegreeRelocation Assistance ProvidedNo
