Our organization is actively looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to become part of one of the most rapidly expanding gastroenterology programs in West Virginia. As a regional referral center with 300 beds, we serve as the central hub for four nearby community hospitals, providing physicians with the chance to meet immediate patient needs while contributing to the growth of a flourishing GI service line. Position Highlights:

• Hospital-employed role within the esteemed WVU Medicine Health System
• Join a skilled team consisting of 2 Advanced Gastroenterologists and 3 General Gastroenterologists, with plans to expand to 6-7 physicians
• Step into a practice with immediate patient volume and an established 6-month procedural waitlist
• Flexible practice structure featuring a balanced combination of outpatient procedures and inpatient consultations
• Physicians typically start with 2 procedure days weekly, advancing to 3 as their practice develops
• Shared inpatient GI rotation at a ratio of 1:6
• Dedicated support from Advanced Practice Providers on a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Significant investment in the future of Gastroenterology, including new endoscopy suites, expanded OR facilities, and a new outpatient surgery center in development
• Opportunity to perform ERCP and other advanced procedures for qualified candidates, though advanced fellowship training is not mandatory for General GI roles
• Base salary exceeding the 90th percentile, with a productivity model offering earning potential of over $1M
