A Supply Chain Analyst will make recommendations to the Management Team around the topics of forecasting, inventory, capacity,laborand/or suppliers. In this position, the Supply Chain Analyst will prepare,analyzeand manage the financial and business information needed to make sound decisions and process improvements. Makes recommendations to the Executive Team on labor and inventory management and machineutilization.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:​​Conducts quantitative analysis toidentifyopportunities to achieve business imperatives. Initiatesfurther analysis and recommendationsbased on findings.​Proactivelyidentifypotential disruptions to the supply chain. Collaborates across functional groups to preventdisruptionsleveragingavailable system solutions, relationships and escalating whenappropriate.​Understands and can teach supply chain conceptsacross multiple disciplines.​Demonstrates overall knowledge of Swagelok end to end supply chain, applies knowledge to achieve organizational impact​Supportandbeginsto leadprojectteams working to drive optimization and overall supply chain success.Utilize project management methodologies.​Creates and presents recommendations in a concise manner to management.​Cultivates and leverages relationshipsacross multiple disciplinesto resolve supply chain issues.​Able to independentlyextractand interpretdata and complete complex ad hoc analyses.​Continuously looks for ways to benchmark and improve processes through analysis of methods and models.​Makes analysis adjustments using the most effective method.​Acts as the primary contact within the Supply Chain for the testing and implementation of processes and application improvements.​Analyzes requirements to troubleshoot problems and/or answer questions.​Demonstrates overall knowledge of Swagelok’send to endsupply chain, applies knowledge to achieve organizational impact.​Collaborates across functional groups and makesrecommendationsleveragingavailable system solutions and escalating whenappropriate.​Generatesnew ideasand willingly supports change initiatives.​Other duties as assignedEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Required:7+years of experience inprevioussupply chain/customer service positions Understands supply chain or customer service functions throughout the different departments. Utilizes this knowledge to collaborate cross-functionally resulting in decisions thatbenefitthe greater supply chain or customer service. Continues to build knowledge, organizational and business awareness.Demonstrates the initiative to build knowledge, organizational and business awarenessSome experience with project managementmethodology, process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma), or statistics.Ability to multi-task, work inteamsand use multiple systems and processes to handle changing requirements.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SAPPreferred: Bachelor's degree and7+ years of supply chain/customer service positions, subject matterexpert on howsupply chainbusinessprocesses and systems workWorking Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:Working conditions associated with normal office environment.Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, printer, etc.).Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings.Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.Swagelok provides a comprehensive package of valuable benefits called Total Rewards focused on health and wellness, compensation, retirement planning, and supplemental rewards. To apply:1.
