Responsibilities - Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Accurately document all procedures, facilitate training for new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Continue to maintain certification throughout your employment.
