Position Summary:-

• The selected candidate will design and implement software solutions and ensure that current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfill business needs.
• Implement Integrated Justice Portal standards related to application technologies, including UI standards, development methodology, and coding and style guides.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance.
• Provide analysis, design, development, and code review of enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT, and IBM Portal/WebSphere application development software.

Responsibilities:-

• Guide and oversee iterative development activities for complex JEE-based enterprise systems.
• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and code reviews for enterprise applications.
• Work with infrastructure teams on performance test planning and execution, failover planning and execution, endurance testing, and deployment planning/testing.
• Perform oversight of development activities including data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, logical database modeling, testing, and implementation.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including application designs and database schemas.
• Act as a technical liaison with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues.
• Support enterprise application development using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT, and IBM Portal/WebSphere technologies.
• Participate in technical reviews and ensure adherence to established coding, development, and UI standards.
• Support applications using Oracle and SQL Server databases and associated enterprise technologies.
• Collaborate with technical teams to plan and execute application deployments and related testing activities.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams.

Required Skills / Qualifications:-

• 84+ months of experience guiding iterative development teams involving planning, designing, implementing, and integrating complex JEE-based systems involving data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• 84+ months of experience developing applications implemented with JDK 1.8 or higher using JSF/JSP .
• 84+ months of experience developing applications using JMS, EJB, MQ 6.0 or higher, XML, JAXB, and JAXWS .
• 84+ months of experience developing applications using JPA and/or Hibernate with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
• 36+ months of experience using PrimeFaces, Angular, and/or ReactJS .
• 24+ months of experience using IBM WebSphere Liberty .
• 24+ months of experience developing, implementing, and integrating systems related to criminal justice processing at the state or federal level, including areas such as disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing, and criminal history updating.
