Penn Commercial Business/Technical School has been a leader in technical education since 1929, offering a variety of programs including Nail Tech, Esthetics, Cosmetology as well as Practical Nursing and a variety of trade programs. Located in Washington, PA, we are dedicated to providing quality training that prepares students for successful careers in their chosen fields. Summary We are seeking a skilled Nail Technician to join our team at Penn Commercial Business/Technical School. In this role, you will educate students on nail care techniques and aesthetic treatments while fostering a supportive learning environment. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality education in the beauty industry. Responsibilities- Teach students the fundamentals of nail care and various techniques for manicures and pedicures.
- Demonstrate aesthetic treatments related to nail services.
- Create lesson plans that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide hands-on training and supervision during practical sessions.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in nail technology.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Gel Polish, CND Plexigel, Gel X, Acrylics, Wraps, Hot Oil Cuticle, Parafin and Dip Powder Services
- Cosmetology Teacher's License
- Valid Nail Technician license as required by state regulations.
- Experience in nail care and cosmetology is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate students.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Knowledge of current trends in nail technology and beauty treatments is preferred.
- Previous teaching or training experience is a plus but not required.
- Two evenings a week - 4 hour shift
- Every other Saturday - 5 hour shift
