Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Provide high-quality patient care in a post-acute setting
Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Document care and services provided in the Point Click Care (PCC) charting system

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Current CNA license in South Dakota
BLS certification required
Minimum experience as a certified nursing assistant
