STEP/STIBO Application Development / Support Engineer

Primary skills: STEP STIBO, Core Java, Spring Boot, MDM (Master Data Management) Concept, XML Secondary skills: JavaScript, SQL, Java basics, JSON, SFTP/WINSCP, SDLC and Agile Processes, JIRA, GIT Skill Matrix: Skill Mandatory Proficiency Level (1-5) STEP STIBO Must have 4 MDM (Master Data Management) Concept Must have 4 Core Java Must have 4 XML Must have 4 JavaScript Must have 4 SFTP/WINSCP, GIT Must have 4 SQL Good to have 3 JSON, Spring Boot Good to have 3 Responsibilities: Primary objective being, to adhere to the enhancement of STEP application, production support requirements, and ensure deliverables are met on time with quality and minimal bugs for content application. Should have Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, XML, Java basics, SFTP/WINSCP, JSON, MDM (Master Data Management) concept development skills. Understanding of SQL and STIBO would be an added advantage. Ensure production support issues are addressed on time and effectively to the satisfaction of the business users in individual tracks. Ready to work on-call to support the project. Should know the incident and problem management activities. Ensure requirements are well documented and identify any areas for improvement. Keep track of open JIRA/GLPI tickets to ensure SLAs are not breached. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile processes. Follow target time/date for providing RCA and proper resolution for bugs/incidents. Should be able to organize and collaborate effectively with leads and senior software developers/senior support engineers. Should be an effective team player and assist other team members with delivery requirements. Should be self-motivated and possess self-learning capabilities. Required Skills: Strong STEP STIBO experience. Core Java, Spring Boot experience. Basic understanding of JavaScript, XML, Java basics, SQL, MDM (Master Data Management) concept. Basic understanding of SRs. Average to above average knowledge in most supply chain modules like merchandising, inventory, procurement, purchasing, etc. would be helpful. Excellent knowledge in interface monitoring and error fixing. Should be aware of SFTP/MFT/WINSCP processes. Prioritization and organizational skills.
