Intro
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Builder/Machinist to work with a leading manufacturing company in Chesterfield. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical and machining skills looking for a stable, full-time position in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Patterns
- 6:00AM to 4:30PM Monday thru Friday
- Overtime available on Saturdays when required
Pay Rates
- 25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly
Must-have Requirements for Machine Builder/Machinist
- Proven ability to operate mills, lathes, and precision machining equipment.
- Hands-on experience assembling, fitting, and building mechanical components.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Consistent dependability for full-time day shift with overtime.
Desirable Requirements for Machine Builder/Machinist
- Familiarity with CNC mills or lathes for precision machining.
- Understanding of basic fluid power systems used in machine builds.
- Ability to assist with wiring, sensors, or machine controls.
- MIG/TIG welding skills for fabrication or repair work.
- Experience assembling complex mechanical systems or tooling.
- Ability to read advanced mechanical drawings or GD&T.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues during builds.
Role for Machine Builder/Machinist
- Assemble, fit, and build mechanical components and systems according to specifications.
- Perform precision machining tasks using mills, lathes, and related equipment.
- Support fabrication, fitting, and repair of parts as needed.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and workmanship in all tasks.
