Job Title Physical Therapist Location Texas Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Outpatient | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements while actively pursuing professional development through continuing education and professional organizations Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Texas Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific State Practice Act and professional code of conduct Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control protocols Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a structured outpatient environment with a focus on functional outcomes and return to community activities Supportive setting that encourages ongoing professional development and continuing education Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773683.
