Azure Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Azure Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the Digital Nexus Technology department supporting security and cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote (Short term contract)

What's the Job?

• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Sentinel solutions to enhance enterprise security monitoring and threat detection.

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Microsoft Sentinel, staying current with new features, capabilities, and best practices.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity architecture teams to integrate Sentinel into the overall security ecosystem.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security teams on threat detection, incident response, and analytics using Sentinel.

• Design and implement integrations between Sentinel and other security platforms to enable a unified security architecture.

What's Needed?

• Strong Azure Cloud Engineering experience, particularly with Azure deployments, integrations, and data connectors.

• Experience with Azure Sentinel administration and configuration.

• Proficiency with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, Policy Deployments, Load Balancers, AMA, and ARC.

• KQL experience for data validation and analysis.

• Experience supporting data ingestion, integrations, connectors, and troubleshooting within Azure environments.
